The XV Conference on Alcoholism'Attention deficit disorders and Hiperactivity'
This is the title of the conference that opened yesterday. The XV Conference on Alcoholism, organized by the Association of recovering alcoholics; Asociación de Alcohólicos Rehabilitados de Almuñécar-La Herradura (ARDA) inaugurated by the councilor of Social Welfare, Dolores Rull, to be conducted in the Casa de la Cultura of Almuñécar Social worker Mariano Sánchez Robles from the Health Center spoke on this issue at 20:00 pm last night. Alcoholism is a disease that creates a physical and psychological dependence which also causes a deterioration on the personal and social level. The conference of 2009 will deal with these matters to explain and create awareness of this serious problem to the people of Almuñécar, what are the implications, new forms of consumption, the effect of advertising as well as prevention, especially in regards to the younger generations. 'The great mistake: alcoholism' is the theme of the conference on Thursday (today), which will be led by José Luis Fernández Ruiz of the Hospital General Básico de Motril. Friday is the last day of the conference and the closing title/subject will be with the title "Alcohol and Traffic ', which will be given by Rafael Onetti, lieutenant commander of Traffic in Motril.
